Hello World!

Here it is.. my first blog! This is a pretty big deal to me.. I'll admit I've been really intimidated with the thought of starting a blog for awhile. I mean I love reading other blogs, but with starting my own blog..I feel the pressure to write a post that is worth reading, create a catchy name and make a super creative page... But I've decided that blogging is like everything else.. a work in progress. And you've got to start somewhere, right? Welcome world... to my progress!

My hope
is that after reading my blog you will leave feeling inspired, enlightened, or at least filled in on the crazy journey of my life! But sometimes that might not be the case...I might not always write witty and cleaver things... and lets get real, I doubt half of what I write will actually be spelled correctly (never was a strength of mine!) but I can promise that each post will be me!

So here are a few pictures of the last month- For those of you who don't know it has been a crazy one for us! We made a move from San Diego to Atlanta so Chris could reach his goal of finishing school! We are one step closer and for that I am so grateful! Although, I will admit it has been a rough transition for both of us. It's getting easier each day, because with each day we are reminded we follow a God who knows the plans for our lives even when we aren't sure of those plans! Ok.. back to the pics here are a few of our last week in Cali, and our road trip to Ga.
Sweet way to end a great going away dinner! Chocolate fondue with some of our best friends!

Last set up at Elevate Church! Home to us in so many ways...

C Ray and Reece- such sweet friends to fly to San Diego to support us on our drive across country! Grateful for them!

Vegas!!!

Definitely a highlight.. the Grand Canyon!

Here it is.. absolutely nothing! Really.. just a random sign in the middle of nowhere! The fam cam literally had a tumble weed stuck to it after leaving this sign!

Settle down boys...
clearly acting natural in the "natural state"

No place like it.. Memphis, TN!

And we made it... a great trip came to an end!

Ok.. so not everything was highlighted.. mostly because I got impatient with uploading pictures and Chris keeps telling me if I put too much on my first post, I'll have nothing else to write about! So.. until next time...
